vKj5ueJP1do“I’m a Smart Guy…” Sean Michael Bond April 24, 2011 Political Excuse Me! Are You Sure? Perhaps You are simply an Egotistical, Closet, Used Car Salesman with a Really Bad Comb Over who also happens to have connections with the Mafia… But that’s just me. Well guess what Donald? You are fair game now that you want to be a politician and you had better be prepared to have your private life splashed all over the place. You have even admitted recently that you’ve bloated your net worth. Gets ugly in Politics doesn’t it? So Donald, Just how many wives have you had and how many times have you filed bankruptcy? You know it’s pretty bad when the Right Wing Media like Bill O’Reilly state that this is a non issue and yet you push it. You even made a statement to Bill after he shows the birth announcements… Trump: “Who puts announcements… Here’s two poor people, a man and a woman with no money to have a baby… His Announcement is in the Newspaper?” O’Reilly: “His Grandparents did it…” Trump: “Excuse Me… His Grandparents did… Nelson Rockefeller doesn’t put announcements in the newspaper… I’ve Never seen one…” Well Donald, Perhaps You don’t know how to read a newspaper beyond the stock market pages. Oh and By the By… This is a response from a Hawaiian citizen on the birth announcements… “’Who puts birth announcements in the newspaper?’ We do dummy! I live in Hawaii and ALL the island newspapers publish birth announcements at least twice a week. In Hawaii, we take the birth of a child very seriously because of our culture.” Let the Backlash Begin – Stay Tuned… The Backlash against Donald Trump over this nonsense is starting to gain steam and Donald Trump is walking a dangerous path, as not only will his credibility as a Presidential candidate be flushed, but he will be risking everything else; his business and his reality show for starters. By the Way Donald, Why is it we have not heard SQUAT from You and your infamous “Detectives” digging up your “Poof?” Sure Seems Funny to me! We all know how that appearance on “The View” turned out recently and below will be a running tally of people calling out Trump for his stupidity On April 21 2011 Comedian Jerry Seinfeld withdrew from from a charity event for St. Jude’s Hospital being organized by Trump’s son Eric. A spokesman for Jerry Seinfeld was quoted in saying: “Jerry… feels this kind of demagoguery has no place in public discourse… He has respectfully withdrawn from the event, and is making a contribution both to the Eric Trump Foundation and to St. Jude.” On April 24 2011 Actor Robert De Niro stated this in an interview with NBC’s Brian Williams: “It’s like a big hustle. It’s like being a car salesman. Don’t go out there and say things unless you can back them up. How dare you? That’s awful to do. To just go out and speak and say these terrible things? Unless you just wanna get over and get the job. It’s crazy.” On April 24 2011 New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg was interviewed on Fox News and stated: Republicans are making “a terrible mistake” in pushing the “birther issue…” The New York City mayor, an independent, said President Barack Obama “was born here” on the program. Despite calling Donald Trump a friend and “a New York icon,” he took issue with the potential presidential candidate’s persistence in raising skepticism over the president’s birthplace. Bloomberg said that “anybody can run for president if [he or she] is 35 and an American citizen,” including Trump. He noted, however, that the billionaire is by no means the only one pushing the birther issue on the right side of the aisle. “There are a lot of roots that have glommed onto this,” he said. Bloomberg asserted that it’s time for Republicans to address pressing policy issues that are important to Americans. “We have immigration, we have the deficit, we have the economy,” he said. “Those are the things that the public cares about.” It will be very interesting how this will all play out. One thing for certain we will continue to add updates to the mounting pressure on Trump to drop it and move on.
